I don’t think Darcy values the Merytonites’ good onion because he did not think their opinion of him mattered. He wrote them off as:

…a collection of people in whom there was little beauty and no fashion, for none of whom he had felt the smallest interest, and from none received either attention or pleasure. Miss Bennet he acknowledged to be pretty, but she smiled too much. (4)

I am not sure why Darcy is annoyed he received no attention from anyone since he made it impossible for them to do it. (:D)
