"Mrs Bennet was therefore established as a sweet girl"
I remember once a group of friends describing a girl as a "good girl."
- "She´s good, you know?"
- "She´s so good"
-" She´s a good girl."
I was so fed up that asked, "and besides being good, what else?" I felt hat instead of being a compliment, being good sounded more like, "just good."
Describing Lizzy as sweet sounds kind...but, it MIGHT be a diminishing remark...
