Are you new?

to insult a young woman who isn't dancing, through no fault of her own. Darcy should have socialized -- that would have been the polite, the correct thing to do. And when he saw Elizabeth, he should have either (1) asked her to dance (after an introduction) or (2) kept his mouth shut to avoid saying something stupid and insulting. IMHO, of course. :-)
