Darcy might have been rude and ruined Mrs. Bennet´s plans...but, at least he made the evening interesting.

Without Darcy, just another typical ball.

Liking Darcy depends on what we value most. Would we rather attend a perfect boring ball or a different one?

I prefer an amusing one. Maybe that´s why I like Darcy.

AND, to me that fact that Mrs. Bennet doesn´t like him and encourage bad word of mouth about him, tells me that the guy can´t be so bad. My point is, if a silly person says that someone is silly, then that person must be intelligent.
