Every savage can dance.   Written by Stephanie (4/13/2010 11:59 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, he was looked at with great admiration for about half the evening, penned by Janet
Are you new?

You might be right. But I rather thought Mrs. Bennett's outrage would not be as telling to the rest of the crowd. After all, it happened within her family - she SHOULD take it more personally. Just refusing to dance after his dances with Bingley's sisters were over would have been enough, I suppose. And then, he refused any conversation - what do you do with a man like that?

By the way, did anyone else notice Darcy looks down on dancing, because 'any savage can dance,' but approves of conversation? Apparently, savages do not talk! ;)
