in consequence of the missive, Darcy's Behavior, penned by Kathryn Ann
Darcy is certainly in the wrong and Lizzie and the populous in general have every right to feel as they do. As you probably know, I can find no excuse whatsoever for such behavior as he displays at the assembly. He certainly brings this reaction on himself. But more to the point, should his actions on one encounter so decidedly fix their opinions against him forever? Should ours? Should we as human beings be able to get over something such as this and have an open mind upon further contact? I think this is a question that begs to be asked. :)
