Are you new?

Nina RG has hit the nail on the head, I think: Darcy is indignant because the dancing precludes conversation, and therefore he cannot attend to Elizabeth's conversations with others.

Since I cannot skip ahead of our reading schedule, I will come back to this later! (I am looking at foreshadowing/parallels.)
