In fact, a good judge of character   Written by Kathi (4/12/2010 7:24 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, distinguishing the much superior solicitude, penned by Stephanie
Are you new?

I think that Lizzy's opinion of the Bingley sisters is an example that show her a good judge of character, since they do seem to have fooled some other people longer that they very brief time they may have fooled Lizzy.

I agree with Line -- what we've seen up till now is mainly evidence that Lizzy was a reasonably good judge of character, even if not that many of the people she has encountered have been difficult to suss out.

That she doesn't see that Darcy's feelings about her have changed is hardly evidence that she is not that great at understanding people -- it would take more vanity about her attractions than Lizzy appears to have to believe that a man whom she has overheard denigrating both her looks and her consequence is now fighting an attraction to her.
