Drawing of Castle of Otranto, 1785.   Written by Mandy N (2/1/2006 8:02 p.m.)
Are you new?

Below is a copy of the watercolour of the Castle of Otranto by artist After Willey Reverley given to Horace Walpole by Lady Craven.
Thought it might be ofsome interest.

Don't know what that thing on the main tower is. An instrument of war ? No doubt a toy of Manfred's.

Actually, it reminds me of Bodlian castle which played the Abbey in NA1.

Castle Otranto drawing.
