Why do YOU think a statue's nose would bleed?

Possible meanings of the blood:
A) The statue needs to move to a lower altitude
B) The statue's nose needs to spend time with a humidifier.
C) Vitamin K deficiency
D) "the blood of Alfonso will never mix with that of Manfred!”

It is so funny how quickly conclusions are jumped to and accepted in this story.

And why his nose? Think of the choices, i.e, a a tear of blood could have trickled down his cheek, seeped from his heart...
