The weak prince   Written by LaurieC (1/29/2006 10:40 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Entanglements in Otranto., penned by Mandy N
Are you new?

Everything you mention is deliciously sentimental. I wanted to elaborate on this part of the story, which made my eyes cross:

Frederic, 'that weak prince who had been struck by the charms of Matilda, listened all too eagerly to the offer.'

*snort* This gentlemen has been on the road for eons, then gets stuck in three places by a sword! Yet, from his sickbed, he's still got the roving eye for Matilda. Stories can't get much better than this, LOL!
