Why Manfred challenged the silent knight (Silent Night? ;-) Written by Line (1/28/2006 10:06 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Love the silent knight!, penned by Joanmarie

I think Manfred was challenging the silent knight to *single* combat, so if the knight was a man of honour, it wouldn't matter how large his retinue was if he lost.
