Are you new?

I too can understand the thrill HW's contemp. and later readers had when reading this novel, after all they hadn't been exposed to a thrill-a-minute movies that we have had etc.

Actually, I think HW knew a thing or two about plotting and keeping his readers on the edge of their seats. This GR has not only given me an insight into NA but also the whole 18C Gothic genre as a whole.
