Help with the relationship of Frederic to Manfred   Written by Riva (1/26/2006 10:51 p.m.)
Are you new?

In Chapter two the narrator says:

Frederic's ancesors had assumed the style of princes of Otranto, from the death of Alfonso the Good without issue: but Manfred, his father, and grandfather, had been too powerful for the house of Vicenza to dispossess them.

How are Frederic and his bunch related to Manfred? And then it seems that Frederic is the father of Isabella?
