As much as I liked the illustration, the helmet isn't nearly big enough, IMHO. It is supposed to be "an hundred times more large than any casque ever made for human being, and shaded with a proportionable quantity of black feathers" -- and it's smaller than the people standing by it.

But it is fun, no matter what the scale.
