Are you new?

TCoO a couple of months ago, I remember clearly, reading about the reaction of people on reading the novel, in the introduction section.


Some said they couldn't sleep at night.

I tried finding this now, and couldn't. Of course it is nearly midnight here, and so perhaps am not so bright and alert.

Do you remember reading it, Mandy?
Actually I was looking for it to comment on your following comment.
[Maybe many C18th readers took Otranto too seriously! ;)

They must have, if they got nightmares after reading it. ;-)
