The language is just so overwrought, and killing the son in what, the fourth paragraph of the book? And with a giant helmet. Talk about plunging us right into the action. But I'm having such a hard time taking any of this seriously, and can't imagine anyone else doing so either, which, I suppose, is JA's point in NA. ;-)

Oh, and trust you to sneak in a Wicked Witch reference - LOL!
