Once they'd had time to get acquainted, I can picture Henry Tilney and Elinor Dashwood getting along like a house on fire. He'd be perceptive enough to discern her dry wit. He might also have a good effect on Marianne by demonstrating that one can have strong feelings and still display good manners.

For that manner, I'd love to see Henry enter the world of P&P---can you imagine the perfect storm of wit between Henry and Lizzy?
