Sunday travelling, too   Written by Tom P2 (4/27/2012 6:19 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, What’s with the general, huh!, penned by Srirup

To make matters even worse, his timing forces Catherine to travel on a Sunday, which was poor form. In Persuasion, Sunday travelling is listed as one of Mr Elliot's old vices that Anne suspects.

Incidentally, the days don't quite reconcile. In chapter 29: Unfortunately, the road she now travelled was the same which only ten days ago she had so happily passed along in going to and from Woodston; ... - but the Woodston visit was on a Wednesday, so it would've been eleven days earlier. Perhaps Catherine's just reckoning time with feminine lawlessness there. ;-)
