Even Elizabeth Bennet, who strikes me as more learned that Catherine, thinks of how Darcy and she would suit each other: i.e. she would liven him up a bit with her sense of humour and she would benefit from his knowledge, greater learning and experience of the world, etc. So while the intellectual gap may be a bit wider between Henry and Catherine than between Darcy and Elizabeth, I think the Tilneys will get on very well together.
