Are you new?

I'm finding this book kind of funny so far - such as in chapter 9, where it starts out with "Catherine's unhappiness from the events of the evening", where she felt a "general dissatisfaction with everybody about her" (I've felt like that sometimes!) Also, even though I don't like John Thorpe so far, I thought it was funny when Catherine was surprised when he showed up for their drive and he said to her "What a head you have!" I've never heard that expression before!
