As I was thinking about how much James is annoying me (see thread below), I found myself considering his treatment of Catherine as compared with Henry's treatment of Eleanor. We haven't seen too much of their interactions yet, but so far he seems to treat her with a gentle respect that James is lacking in his treatment of Catherine.
