Patience   Written by Rute (4/3/2012 1:11 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Catherine and Henry's first conversation (ch 3), penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

I'm not sure Henry listening to Mrs. Allen is an indication of how patient he is. I took it to mean he is amused by her silliness and humorously allows her to ramble on. This is why Catherine "feared, as she listened to their discourse, that he indulged himself a little too much with the foibles of others."

Even so, he is quite wonderful, isn't he? His playfulness is rather charming.
