Like Nicki, I interpreted Isabella to be hinting at an attachment or hoped-for attachment with James. She figures Catherine is sure to figure this out and when she does, Izzie would not want it to get out before everything is settled between herself and James and then with his (and Catherine's) parents is how I read it.
