Catherine's parents are failing miserably...   Written by BarbaraB (4/1/2012 2:13 p.m.)
Are you new?

...at being the parents of a heroine. Simply, they are too goodhearted and practical and too great at being all-around good parents. How can they be so unaccommodating? What can they mean by it? So can we expect anything other than that they should give birth to a little girl who is quite unaccomplished at being a heroine? I found my mouth curved into a big smile as I hit the end of the second sentence. And don't you just love this little girl named Catherine. I want to picture her in bib overalls and pigtails but forcing my mind to see her in Regency outfits rolling down hills and such makes it all the more amusing. JA hits her stride right out the gate and it's hard to make yourself stop and pace yourself. Looking forward to this read with everyone.
