... I've felt uncomfortable all along with the many comments that Henry's behavior was less than ideal, or even the apparent implication that Frederick was more at fault than Isabella for her downfall.

However, ambivalent as I am about both points, I wasn't able to ferret out a coherent response, even for myself. You've helped me out a lot, at least regarding Henry.
