Yes   Written by Robbin (3/27/2009 3:23 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ch 31: clandestine correspondence, penned by Julia Catherine
Are you new?

Correspondence between an unmarried woman and a gentleman could be seen as evidence of an engagement. Catherine and Henry are not actually engaged so corresponding is technically inappropriate but the Morlands look the other way, I guess, because in typical Morland fashion they believe everything will work out. I have linked a L&T post on the subject. (;D)
