Why does Catherine think it "unaccountable"? Regardless what she thinks of the state of Henry's affections for her, he and Eleanor are clearly her good friends, and wouldn't she expect this kind of reaction from good friends?

As for responding to all of my posts - I wish you would! You always have great insights. And, despite the number that I posted last night, I actually had to hold myself back and only started 4 new threads - could have gone on much further! But I think I loosened the reins on myself a little bit, as I see the tell-tale compression of the dates before me, and that we are all hastening together to the end of this GR. I feel like this GR has been really manageable in terms of the volume of posts, so I don't feel too bad about adding to its bulk,and there's still so much more to say! :-)
