We're told in Ch. 30 that Henry "steadily refused to accompany his father into Herefordshire, an engagement formed almost at the moment to promote the dismissal of Catherine,. So I suppose that answers the question of whether they were really going. But do you think Catherine realized from the get-go that it was planned for the sole purpose of getting rid of her? Or did she, until later, see herself as an innocent casualty of their social schedule?
