Ch30,31 - When you break rules, break 'em good and hard   Written by Tom P2 (3/26/2009 5:53 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Yet another shift of mood - more LOL lines!, penned by JoAnn
Are you new?

Nanny Ogg's words could apply to JA and the rules of composition. I delight in the way she brazenly [unites] for [the reader's] ease what they must divide for mine, refers to the number of pages left in the book, and produces a Viscount out of her sleeve.

It wouldn't do for a constancy - I wouldn't want to see it in many novels - but as an occasional flourish it's very refreshing.
