Lord Longtown's daughter would be Miss Longtown. Written by Adrian (3/25/2009 7:39 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, But why would Alice be able to receive mail at Lord Longtown’s?, penned by Cathy Allen

Catherine would not know or address her as Alice, so I hold that Alice is Eleanor's maid, who would travel with her to Lord Longtown's.

(I note that Lord Longtown is one of the people the General hoped to meet in Bath but did not.)
