When I read about the General's "casual" plan for all of them to visit Woodston, and Henry's reaction to it, it made me think of the dysfunctional families that have been such a staple of daytime shows like "Oprah" and "Doctor Phil" over the years. How many family members have we seen who say the exact opposite of what they mean, or otherwise talk in a code that must then be correctly deciphered by other family members if there are to be no ructions? (I thought this was a modern phenomenon! ;-)
P.S: Even before Henry's reaction, I did notice that the General went from "There is no need to fix" to "about a quarter before one on Wednesday, you may look for us" in the course of one short conversation!
