Why call him a villain? Written by Tom P2 (3/20/2009 3:09 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, The General's duplicitousness... again, penned by JoAnn

OK, he's been caught contradicting himself, fun flees from his presence, and Eleanor's stuck with him, but does that add up to villainy?

In his favour, he runs the estate very well, and if we're to believe what he says about Woodston in chapter 22 he's been a big help in setting Henry up.
