In ch.22, when Henry has just left for Woodston, Catherine wants to know whether Woodston is a pretty place. The General begins with:“What say you, Eleanor? Speak your opinion..." and goes on talking and talking so that we still donīt know Eleanorīs opinion on the matter. Poor Eleanor seems to have no say in his presence...
