What is a "tea house?'   Written by nan duval (3/17/2009 7:26 p.m.)
Are you new?

In chapter 22, at the end of the tour of the gardens, led by the general, after going through the hot houses he proposes going to the tea house. I had previously envisioned this as a folly of sorts where the family & guests could drink tea, but after understanding that the pinery was a place to grow pineapples, I was wondering if the tea house was a place to grow camilla sinensis. Can any mavens of L&T enlighten me?
