Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence   Written by Robbin (3/15/2009 9:07 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, a U-Turn, penned by BarbaraB
Are you new?

Good catch on when the u-turn happened. In Ch. 18 Isabella talks of how much money is needed for a couple to live upon and wonders that JT thinks of Catherine saying “he could not have received my last” suggesting she wrote to him of the paltry support Mr. Moreland has promised James. Isabella is interested in Captain Tilney’s inheritance:

“And so you are going to Northanger! I am amazingly glad of it. It is one of the finest old places in England, I understand. I shall depend upon a most particular description of it.” (Ch. 18)

Thanks for reading. (;D)
