Absence makes the heart grow fonder   Written by Robbin (3/11/2009 12:36 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Another case of Isabella projecting herself?, penned by Graciela
Are you new?

Good catch on Isabella wanting to attract all the men in her vicinity. I love how the descriptions of Eleanor highlight Isabella’s flaws. I don’t know if Isabella is trying to make James jealous or if she is just playing the game of No really means Yes. Isabella tells him she is not going to talk with him as Catherine is present and then of course ignores Catherine and “talked the rest of the evening to James.” Perhaps it was supposed to make James grateful for her attention after she claimed he would receive none—he probably was grateful, poor guy.

Thanks for reading. (;D)
