How could Austen NOT like novels?

How could Austen NOT like novels? Written by Lynn (3/5/2009 8:44 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ch.5: Novel-reading, women and morality, penned by Line

Forgive me if I am mistaking you, but it seems you think that Austen might not have liked novels towards the end of her life? How could she NOT like novels when she writes them?
