What a wonderful study in contrast   Written by TimLee (3/4/2009 11:41 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Isabella....a heroine?, penned by Ivonne
Are you new?

I had not thought before that JA may be setting Isabella up as what a "heroine" (that is, someone who suffered some of the things a "heroine" experiences) would look like in real life, as opposed to the romaticized depiction in the popular novels of the day. Nicely done, Ivonne.

Thanks,
Tim
