Ch.4: Question about lords and attornies   Written by Line (3/4/2009 9:32 a.m.)
Are you new?

At the end of ch.4, we are told that there will be no chapters-long description of "the worthlessness of lords and attornies". Having read only "Otranto" so far, do I take it that dishonest attornies and lords were a staple of Heroic romances? (But then, what about the lord that the Heroine was eventually supposed to fall in love with? How was she supposed to tell the difference? ;-)
