I don't know about anyone else, but I already can't stand these people.

Isabella - never shuts up, and you can't believe a word she says. I don't know how Catherine doesn't see it, but I don't think she's trustworthy at all. That whole bit about her walking with James on the way to Edgar buildings: "...though they overtook and passed the two offending young men in Milsom street, she was so far from seeking to attract their notice, that she looked back at them only three times." She can't even keep her attention focused on her present company!

And John - what to say about John? He's loud, brash, rude, unkind to his horse, his mother, and his sisters. He cares only for his own opinion, and does everything he can to make himself look good. If he were around today, he'd be the quintessential used car salesman, polyester suit and all. Gives me the heebie jeebies.
