I am truly sorry. I did not mean to discuss Radcliffe here. I just wanted to say in reply to another post that I do not believe young ladies were recommended or encouraged to be excessively sensitive, as that could result in making themselves and others unhappy. And I wanted some quotations to suppport my opinion. But thank you for the reminder.
