I dislike his manners. He is not well spoken. He does not behave as become a gentleman -- he is 'easy where he ought to be civil, and impudent where he might be allowed to be easy.'

He does not treat people well, either. He told his mother that she looks like an old witch, and his sisters that they are ugly.
