Re: "Isabella" -- the guy who owns the music store/Cosmicity's original distributor is an old college chum and a Jane Austen fan, too. He hasn't read NA yet, but I think he will now. :)

Re: The Mirror -- Since the essay was originally published in 1779, that's probably just before Catherine Morland was born. As a teenager, I remember balking at the "dusty old advice books" my parents hoped would cure my crankiness; I wonder if Catherine could be expected to have the same reaction to this essay?
