Greetings to the NA group read! I am an infrequent poster here at Pemberley (though I do have a reserved name)--I prefer to read a great deal, reflect much, and write seldom :) I have enjoyed this group read immensely--you ladies are all so lively!--though I have not posted here before. But when I read the posting about the final limerick contest my wheels started turning, and, well--here’s a limerick from a tacit group read participant ;)
The Dreadful Black Veil:
Oh! A veil of the black dreadful kind,
Our Miss Morland so does try to find.
Clear lessons neglected,
The General suspected,
And yet Henry to her will still bind.
