Are you new?

This is a v. interesting point, which has been raised before in this GR, especially regarding the Eleanor subplot. I'm sure this impression is enhanced by our knowledge that JA didn't get to finish it, and our consequent assumption that she would have further developed many things that aren't completely fleshed out, e.g. Eleanor's marriage.

Are any of you super-knowledgeable Pemberfolk familiar with passages in memoirs by JA's family members, or letters, referring to this issue?
