What a good mother Written by Pennie (4/27/2006 10:42 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Love Mrs. Morland, penned by Charlotte R.

I like it that rather than panicking when Cathering turns up unannounced, she says how glad Catherine is home, and sends her of to bed when she seems tired. It probably made things a lot easier for Catherine that she didn't panic, and focus on all the nasty things that have happened to her.
