I finally had a few minutes for composition:

Isabella and sweet Catherine
Have met at the pump room again.
What’s behind the black veil?
Isabella won’t tell -
She’d rather be chasing young men!

{Is it OK if it isn't related to the metaphor idea? I re-read the chapter where the black veil is mentioned and couldn't get it out of my head!}
