pictures befitting Catherine's fancies, thankyou. :)

The first kitchen picture at Burghley Hous is so delightfully gothicky !

I'm sure General Tilney incorporated all of Count Rumsford's ideas for a slap up to date, modern kitchen- a roasting oven, steamers and new-fangled kitchen utensils.

I feel abit disappointed for Catherine yet I can't help feeling such renovations would at least ensure meats were properly cooked and brought to the table, still hot.
