Are you new?

to;

CH 22;
'I have just learnt to love a hyacinth.'?

Why a hyacinth of all flowers?
Is there a poem or something about liking this flower?
Is there a hidden meaning in it somewhere?

I get this feeling there is something more to it.
Does anyone have any ideas?
